The School Of Alberta Ballet Professional Division

The School of Alberta Ballet’s Residence is a multicultural setting for students from grades 7 through 12 with a friendly, familial atmosphere. Post Secondary is on a separate floor. The Residence is located a short bus ride away from the School of Alberta Ballet on the Mount Royal University Campus and offers a mix of structured supervision, nutritional support, and a setting for rest, relaxation, and physical recovery.

The Residence occupies two locked floors of Building D in one of Mount Royal University’s alcohol-free residence buildings. The floor is divided into units that have four bedrooms, two bathrooms, an eating area and a living room. Each bedroom houses two students. Our main common area has a large, central entertainment area and a large seating area where students may socialize, study and dine with their fellow students. Dietician-approved meals are provided by Made Foods. All students have access to Mount Royal University’s laundry and recreation facilities, library and beautiful grounds.

Residence life offers students the opportunity to develop skills for self-reliance and independence while receiving support and supervision from our caring and committed Residence Team and the entire School of Alberta Ballet community.
